Privacy & Security Policy
Last Updated: [13/9/2026]
Thank you for using our applications. Your privacy and data security are important to us. This Privacy & Security Policy explains how information is handled when you use our applications, including BrainX.
1. Information We Collect
We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Our applications may:
- Not require account registration
- Not collect personal information such as name, email address, or phone number unless explicitly stated within the application
Depending on the application features, the app may access:
- Device information
- Application usage data
- Device sensors (such as activity recognition or similar features)
This data is used strictly to provide and improve application functionality.
BrainX specifically: if you choose to sign in with your Google Account (an entirely optional feature), we collect your name, email address, and a unique account identifier (UID) provided by Google, solely for the purposes described in Section 3 below. You can continue to use BrainX fully as a guest, without signing in, and without any of this information being collected.
2. Local Data Storage
In most cases, data generated within the application is stored locally on the user's device.
We do not store personal data on external servers unless explicitly stated within the application.
BrainX specifically: when you choose to sign in with Google, your game progress (score, level, streak, and related statistics) and your Google account name and email are stored on Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore servers, in addition to being stored locally on your device. This is done exclusively to let you keep your progress if you switch devices or reinstall the app. If you do not sign in, your data remains only on your device, as before.
3. Google Sign-In & Cloud Data Sync (BrainX)
BrainX offers an optional "Sign in with Google" feature, powered by Firebase Authentication.
- What we collect: your Google display name, email address, and account UID.
- Why we collect it: to link your game progress to your account, so it can be restored automatically if you sign in on a new or different device.
- Where it is stored: Google Cloud Firestore, a cloud database service provided by Google. Firebase/Google acts as our data processor and handles this data according to its own privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Your choice: signing in is entirely optional. You may use BrainX as a guest at any time, with full functionality, without providing any personal information.
- Offline use: if you are signed in but have no internet connection, the app continues to work fully using your local data, and automatically syncs any changes to the cloud once your connection is restored.
4. Leaderboard (BrainX)
If you sign in with Google, your display name and best score may appear publicly in the in-app Leaderboard, visible to other users of the app.
- Your email address and any other personal information are never shown on the Leaderboard.
- If you play as a guest (without signing in), you can view the Leaderboard, but your name and score will not appear on it.
- You can stop appearing on the Leaderboard at any time by signing out or deleting your account (see Section 6).
5. Data Retention (How Long We Keep Data)
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the application functionality.
- If data is stored locally, it remains on the device until the user deletes it or uninstalls the application.
- For BrainX accounts created via Google Sign-In: your cloud data (progress, name, email) is retained for as long as your account remains active, or until you delete your account as described in Section 6.
- If any other data is processed externally, it is retained only as long as required to provide the service.
6. Account & Data Deletion
Users have full control over their data.
For BrainX (signed-in accounts): You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data (progress, name, email, and leaderboard entry) at any time by:
- Opening Settings inside the BrainX app and tapping "Delete Account" (or the equivalent in-app option provided). This immediately and permanently removes your account data from our Firebase/Firestore database.
- Alternatively, you may request deletion by emailing us at 📧 emad.multimedia23@gmail.com. Such requests are processed within a reasonable time, and in any case no later than 30 days.
For all applications (general): You can also delete locally stored data by:
- Clearing application data from device settings
- Using in-app deletion options (if available)
- Uninstalling the application
Once deleted, the data cannot be recovered.
7. Permissions
Depending on the application, certain permissions may be requested, such as:
- Activity Recognition or device sensors (for tracking or feature functionality)
- Storage access (for saving user data)
- Internet access (for advertisements, online features, or cloud sync)
These permissions are used strictly for application functionality and are not used to collect personal data beyond their intended purpose.
8. Advertising & App Identifier
Some applications may display advertisements provided by third-party services such as Google AdMob.
These services may collect:
- Device information
- Advertising ID
- Basic interaction data
This information is used for:
- Serving advertisements
- Improving ad performance
- Preventing fraud
We do not control how third-party advertising providers use their data. For more information, please review their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
9. Location Data
Applications do not collect or use location data unless explicitly stated within the application.
If location data is used, it is only for application functionality and is not shared externally.
10. Data Security
We prioritize security by:
- Minimizing data collection
- Using local storage where possible
- Using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase) with access rules that restrict each user's cloud data to that user's own account
- Following secure development practices
11. Children's Privacy
Our applications do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
The Google Sign-In, cloud sync, and Leaderboard features in BrainX are not directed at, and are not intended to be used by, children under 13. If such data is identified, it will be deleted promptly.
12. Third-Party Services
Our applications may use third-party services such as:
- Google AdMob, for advertisements
- Google Firebase (Authentication & Cloud Firestore), for optional sign-in and progress sync in BrainX
These services may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
13. User Control
Users can:
- Manage application permissions through device settings
- Reset or disable their Advertising ID
- Limit ad personalization through device settings
- Sign out of their Google account within the app at any time
- Delete their account and cloud data at any time (see Section 6)
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
